- New email signature facility. You can now create several html email signatures for the Emailer to use. Use this facility if you are having problems with Outlook signatures when emailing from Recruit Studio.
RS4.8.294.16 release date: 09 December 2008
- 'Interested' is now a status indicator on the shortlist status panel on both the Client List of a candidate record or the Candidates tab of a vacancy record. The 'interested' status has a blue coloured marker.
- On the vacancies selection panel of the Main Menu there is now an option to view vacancies updated within the last seven days.
- It is now possible to import multiple key skills to candidate or client records when importing data from a spreadsheet.

- Test release of the new Search & Mailings. We have remodelled the Search & Mailings facility to make it simpler to compose searches and to add extra flexibility if you want to run complex searches. The new layout is designed to be more streamlined and intuitive. For instance you can now merge searches together for more focus. You will find the
new Search & Mailings on the Tools menu. Feedback welcome!

- The Import from Excel facility now handles true or false fields e.g. terms agreed, newsletter, agreed to email.
- It is now possible to email a recipient not in the Recruit Studio database.

- New consultant reporting facility available as an add-in so you can track staff performance easier. This must be downloaded as part of the add-ins modules - see 'Add -ins' on the Download menu above.
RS 4.8.294.5 release date: 03 November 2008
- When emailing more than one person, one of whom is marked as CC, the Emailer now inserts the salutation on the primary recipient rather than the highlighted recipient.
- When emailing clients it is now possible to drag a candidate into the Attachments panel from the Main Menu. Assuming the candidate has a public CV, the CV will be attached and the candidate will receive a log entry.

- The candidate shortlist on a vacancy now displays the name of the user who created the candidate record. This is useful for customers who headhunt because you can identify which user 'owns' the candidate.
RS 4.8.294.3 release date: 27 October 2008
- It is now possible to copy a candidate shortlist from one vacancy to another. To do this, open the blank vacancy that you want to copy the list to, and make sure the Candidates tab is open. Look up the vacancy that already has the shortlist using the Vacancies button on the main menu and drag the vacancy into the shortlist panel.
- When importing data from an Excel spreadsheet, duplicate clients,
candidates and companies are now recognised and excluded from being imported. For this to work successfully, the company name on the spreadsheet must match exactly the company name that already exists in Recruit Studio.

- When adding a salutation to an email with multiple recipients the name in the salutation is taken from the highlighted recipient.
- When searching for companies in Search & Mailings, it is now possible to search 'Terms agreed'.
- Importing contacts from a spreadsheet now allows Segments to be specified. The column heading must be 'Segment'. If you have more than one segment per contact, use a comma to separate them. The relevant sector and segments must already be in the database for the import to work.
